LOGO! LOGO! LOGO!

Now that you’ve come up with an awesome brand name, what’s next?

YOU NEED A LOGO!

Why is a logo so important? Because this is how your customers and fans can visually identify your brand. Even without words, loyal supporters can spot your products with one quick glance. All because of your Logo! So make it memorable, make it epic, make it one of a kind!

Even if you lack the proper technical design skills, it does not mean you can’t come up with a logo design that embodies your style and what your company is about. Write down ideas and draw up sketches, whether you’re good at drawing or not, it doesn’t matter. After you put everything together, you can leave it up to the professionals to develop your ideas into a logo that will be the face of your brand!

Luckily, Stache Haus was founded by some talented designers and created everything from logos to shirt designs in Haus! But even with talent, there is still the process of trial and error. If you are not completely satisfied with your first design, DON’T BE AFRAID to go back to the drawing board, even if you have to start from scratch. No matter how many times it takes, the point is to be completely, 100% satisfied with the end result. Your customers are more knowledgable than you may think, and will notice if something is off. So make sure you take into account all the fine details.

Heres a look at the different stages of STACHE HAUS’ logo development:

This was the first logo that Stache Haus came up with. Truthfully, it took us no more than five minutes to create. Too sloppy, messy, and generic. Did not pay much attention to proportions or balance. Even the font used was way too childish. Most of all, it wasn’t production friendly, being that it would require two colors to print every time…

In order to play on the mustache theme, we came up with a second logo. One that we still use today as another one of our brand identifiers. This too, needed some tweaking!

If you noticed, the initial “Stache” Logo is similar to the one we use today, but the second half was a bit hard to read. The words inside the ‘stache were not balanced. The “HAUS” actually looked more like “HAGS” Lol. So we redesigned it and ended with this…

Now that we had a second logo; The “STACHE” Logo… We went back to try to fix up our original “HAUS” logo…

At this stage we were attempting to incorporate both logos together. FAIL!!! … It ended up looking way too busy. Visually, you wouldn’t know what to focus on because there was so much going on. We needed to simplify it. Make it more marketable! So we decided to keep the two logos separate…

Finally, the logo that we use today. The official face of STACHE HAUS!… We decided to simplify things by removing the brick pattern on the chimney and replacing it with the infamous Stache Haus “x”… We also made the ring around the HAUS thicker and added two thin rings around its borders… Then we put less detail and rounded the eye windows… We even removed the door knob from the door… suggesting that this HAUS is open to all… Mi Casa Su Casa! ^_^

Lastly folks, DO NOT forget that your customers, fans, friends, and supporters are your greatest asset! Without them, your brand wouldn’t exist. So, make sure you ask them for their feedback and opinions. Trust us, they will come up with suggestions and ideas that will greatly impact the success of your brand!

HELLO! My Name Is…

I think we all can agree that your NAME is one of your most important possessions. It’s the first thing your parents give you. It’s what people identify you with, what people remember you by. People do everything to protect it. They defend it with pride. Even in death it stays with you, engraved in stone…

So it’s more than obvious that naming your company is the first and probably the most important step in creating a successful brand… The name should be easily recognizable and flow off the tongue, yet still be unique enough to invoke curiosity. It should also have a meaning or story behind it…

People ask us all the time, “What’s Stache Haus?”… “Why Stache Haus?”… “How did you come up with it?”

Well, in order to explain how we came up with the name Stache Haus… we’ll simply tell you a little story… A story about three brothers; who grew up in a town they never even lived in… but it was there that they learned to be everything that they are today…

These brothers believed in something greater than themselves… navigating through adolescents, fighting to hold on to the values that truly made them a family…

They loved to have fun and joke around, and ended up starting a cover band together… they called themselves the Condorianos (now called the Condoriano Boy Band)😛 … The Condorianos never claimed to be great singers or musicians… They simply regarded themselves as entertainers… Getting the crowd excited and making them laugh…

The mustache quickly became their unofficial symbol… All their fans and everyone that knew them, associated them with mustaches… so they started making and wearing mustache themed t-shirts… As the band grew in popularity, so did their shirts…

One day, the three brothers asked each other… “Yo, why don’t we start a T-Shirt Co?”… So they started making plans… Writing down ideas, sketching designs, figuring out what exactly they needed to get this thing rolling…

After doing their homework and doing plenty of research… They decided that they wanted to be more than just a t-shirt company… They decided to build a brand that will revolutionize an industry filled with fierce competition…

So they started with the first step… A NAME!

They knew they wanted to continue the theme, that their fans identified them with… So the first part of the name was easy… “STACHE”… short for mustache; the symbol that somehow stuck with them as a band… The second part was a little deeper…

The reason why they decided to build a brand, was to help out their family… hoping to create something that will ease some of the worries in life, especially in these tough times… So since every family needs a home, something that is similar to the company they were trying to build … they decided to go with “HOUSE”… but it was too generic, too obvious… So in order to make the name unique, they went with the German spelling of house… “HAUS”… funny thing is HAUS can also be slang for a bad a** cowboy. LOL

So the brothers finally had a name… “STACHE HAUS”… it flowed so smoothly off the tongue… it was unique, yet recognizable… it had meaning and basically described what they’re all about and the direction that they are headed…

THE END
